They share some technical fundamentals (schema, crawlability, content structure), but the success metric is different. Google ranks pages. AI synthesizes answers and picks who to cite. Most SEO tactics that worked for ten blue links don't move the needle inside an AI response.

AI visibility outcomes depend on AI platform behavior, which is outside any agency's control. Anyone showing you guaranteed visibility numbers is overstating what they can deliver. After that, the roadmap typically takes 60 to 90 days to execute, and citations usually start moving 30 to 60 days into execution as content publishes, schema deploys, and PR placements land. AI engines refresh their indexes on their own schedules, so movement isn't instantaneous. We track it weekly.
Can't we just use an AI visibility tool ourselves? +
